Who’ll be having their chips?!

A Murder Mystery Evening Poster Small

This Saturday it’s our one-off Murder Mystery & Chips night. At the time of writing this, the food tickets have all sold out and there are just two show-only tickets left! It’s hight time we introduced the cast to you. Who among this lot will be having their chips, and who’ll be dishing them out?

Sharon

Cecilia Brownlow (Auntie Cessy)

Sharon’s most recent acting role was as tax inspector C. P. Lens in My Friend Miss Flint (June 2022). Sharon is also a key member of our backstage team, sourcing costumes and props.

Steve

Edmund Forster

This is Steve’s first role since debuting as Lieutenant Gruber in ‘Allo ‘Allo (April 2019) and we’re delighted to have him back. Whether he has his flaps wide open or not this time round remains to be seen…

Luke

Eric Ogilvie

Luke has finally stopped being a Pratt after Death by Fatal Murder (December 2022). Other recent roles include Tom Lambert in My Friend Miss Flint (June 2022) and Bernard in Season’s Greetings (2019). He still sometimes wakes in the night shouting “Pig one! Pig one!”.

Lucy

Margaret Ogilvie

Lucy’s most recent acting roles were alongside Pratt, as Ginny Farquhar in Death by Fatal Murder (December 2022) and Capt. Henrietta Woolmer-Cardington in Secondary Cause of Death (2018).  In between times, she went away and got herself an education. We’re delighted to welcome her back!

Ash

Michael Ogilvie

Ash has been part of BaCStage since its inception in 1997, when we were known as The Millennium Players.  He has starred in countless plays and pantomimes, most recently as Enzo Garibaldi in Death by Fatal Murder (December 2022), Albert in My Friend Miss Flint (2022) and Rene in ‘Allo ‘Allo (2019).

Becky

Monica Ogilvie

Becky has been a BaCStage regular since the early days of the group.  Her most recent role was Nancy Allwright in Death by Fatal Murder (December 2022), where she made it out alive having appeared in, and was murdered in, both Murdered to Death (2014) and Secondary Cause of Death (2018).

Jules

Sandra Ogilvie

Jules took in English, Scottish and Welsh accents for her most recent role as Blodwyn Morgan in Death by Fatal Murder (December 2022). She made her BaCStage debut as Michelle in ‘Allo ‘Allo (2019), and has played Pattie in Season’s Greetings (2019) and Sarah in My Friend Miss Flint (2022).  Before joining BaCStage she was a member of the Meridian Singers.

Julie

Maureen Willis

Julie is making her BaCStage debut in this production, but it is by no means her first time on stage. She has been acting in Pantomime for 40 years, the last 15 years with The Players of Earith.

Daniel

Director

Daniel is making his directorial debut, having done just about everything else there is to do as part of a stage group! His most recent acting credit was Constable Thomkins in Death by Fatal Murder (December 2022). His previous acting credits include Virtue Triumphant (2016), along with various panto roles. Daniel is a regular part of the BaCStage back-stage team.
